Project #2 - Stenciled Nintendo Shirt

I stenciled a t-shirt for hubby tonight. This was inspired by a shirt that we seen online, and he thought it was pretty awesome, so I decided to surprise him by making him one.

Project #1 - Dandelion Daydreamers Longies

Well, I started these a couple days ago, and have been working on them on and off. This is the first time I've used this particular pattern, so it is a test run, which explains the yarn choice, however, I am quite fond of this particular colorway. I am also planning on a hat and booties to match.

Project Details:
Yarn: I Love This Yarn Stripes
Colorway: Agean Stripes
Hook: I9

the sweater in the last past? something went terribly wrong. frogged. i don't know if i'll start it again or not now.

i have a pink baby blanket that i'm working on and one for another friend of mine that both need to be finished, so i think i'll concentrate on those for now.

i'm working again. i didn't realize how much sleep i was actually enjoying not having to get up early and all. now i feel sleep deprived for the first 4 hours or so that i'm up. ugh.

i haven't been knitting or crocheting much lately. my hands hurt from work to tell the truth. i have done some digital scrapbooking though. i have mr. m's album that i'm working on and one from the wedding. i'm hoping to have enough pages done in the next couple weeks to get them printed and put in the albums.

i really, really need to make it a point to update my blog more often, but lately the entries would all be the same. "today was a long day, i'm tired, going to bed." lol.

So, this is the sweater that I was working on. I just frogged it, rewrote the pattern to include larger sizes (which btw, that is a "large" in the original pattern, and it says it only has a 34" bust) so I reworked the pattern by adding additional cast on stitches and more rows. according to their sizing, the one I am now knitting would be considered and XXL. for those of you who know me, i wear a size medium. *rolling eyes here* but, since it is worked with US17 needles, it is going quite fast. These are my Addi Natura needles that I love.

And, for your viewing pleasure, Mr M modeling his new sunglasses. Aww, what a ham. I can't believe he will be 2 in less than three months! time flies.

I was thrifty today! Ok, so I'm super excited about it, even though it is quite small.

I bought a Needlemaster set today. They retail for 69.99 usually. Guess how much I paid for mine? $16 and some change including tax. Oh yeah! I guess that makes up for the $25 Addi Natura needle I bought yesterday.

I'm working on a sweater. I'll post pictures of my progress soon.

Thing seem to be busy chasing a toddler around, then trying to finish up some projects in the "down time" lol.

We just had another growth spurt though, within the last week, I've noticed Mr. M's clothes were seeming a bit small on him. I just bought some 3t/4t clothes on ebay. here is what i got:
4 pair 3t shorts
3 pairs of pants 3t/4t (one is even cars!)
4t pjs
3 long sleeve shirts 3t
2 tshirts 4t

total spent: $11.60 (really, i won the auction for $1.25 or something like that, shipping just added up though)

He's tall and skinny though, so I'm hoping that the pants don't just fall off his little butt. He does have some 4t pj's that he wears all the time though (they have lightning mcqueen on them, so he picks them out everytime they are clean) and they fit him ok.

We are going to the children's museum tomorrow, which I am excited about.

We should also be getting our taxes back next week, so we can get caught up on some debt and put the rest away to save it. Well, and I can buy myself this.

I guess I should go get ready, we have an appointment today in an hour, and it looks kinda snowy out.
